Source-Based Writing

Source-Based Writing In-Person

This workshop equips you with essential skills for effective source-based writing. Participants will learn to distinguish between quoting, paraphrasing, and citing, and how to utilize the use of voice-markers and meta-language to enhance their academic prose. The session also addresses common pitfalls like patchwriting, empowering students to produce more polished and academically sound written work.

E.H. Little Library welcomes requests for reasonable accommodations related to disability and will strive to make this program accessible to participants. Please contact Sydney Adams at syadams@davidson.edu in advance of the event to make such a request.
